"Portsmouth FC said the men face a lifetime ban from the Fratton Park
ground. A spokesman said: 'We will not stand for racial abuse in our ground
of any player or any person.'" That is, unless the player is White and and
the shouters are "people of colour," in which case case the wogs can spew
out fuck-you-White-boy venom to their hearts' content.

Yobs' 5yr bans for slurs against Yorke
By Jan Disley
THREE Blackburn fans were banned from going to matches for five years
yesterday after shouting racist insults at Birmingham City star Dwight
Yorke.
Shaun Baxter, 35, Andrew Roberts, 19, and Brian Hargreaves, 20, admitted
shouting "black b******" at Yorke as he warmed up at Ewood Park for a game
against his old club Blackburn Rovers. Roberts also admitted making monkey
gestures. Prosecutor Francis McEntee said: "Dwight Yorke expected some
abuse. He expected to be called a Blackburn reject. What he didn't expect
was the racist abuse that was meted out to him."
Admitting to using racially aggravating terms, Baxter and Roberts were each
fined £500, while Hargreaves was fined £200. A fourth man, Jason Perryman,
22, of Chorley, Lancs, admitted a similar charge last month and was fined
and given the maximum five-year ban.
A fifth man, David Ashcroft, 21, from Leyland, Lancs, denies the same charge
and will return to court in the New Year.
Richard Prew, defending, told Blackburn magistrates' court that the men, all
from Blackburn, were ashamed of their actions and that Baxter had written a
letter of apology to Yorke as well as to both clubs.
He said the situation had been "overblown" after race taunts during
England's match against Spain in Madrid last month.

DAD AND SON ADMIT ABUSE Dec 17 2004
By Geoffrey Lakeman
A FATHER and son yesterday admitted yelling racist abuse at soccer star
Shaka Hislop.
Stephen Marsh, 43, and his 22-year-old son, also Stephen, shouted: "You lazy
black c***" and "You useless black b*****d" at the Portsmouth goalie.
And they screamed obscenities and threatened parents of young children
sitting nearby who remonstrated with them, leaving two youngsters in tears.
Amazingly, the Portsmouth fans were at the home game against Manchester
United with a black friend.
And Marsh junior told police he was not a racist "because he knew a coloured
fellow", Portsmouth magistrates were told. He also admitted they had been
drinking before the game and were "tipsy" but not drunk. The men, of Cosham,
Hants, admitted racially aggravated harassment and affray. District Judge
John Woollard adjourned sentencing until January 20 for reports.
As part of their bail conditions, they were banned from every football
ground in England and Wales.
Pc Gary Morgan, of the Portsmouth Football Unit, said after the hearing that
the language used against Trinidad and Tobago international Hislop, 35, "was
totally unacceptable".
Portsmouth FC said the men face a lifetime ban from the Fratton Park ground.
A spokesman said: "We will not stand for racial abuse in our ground of any
player or any person."
